My new 🏡studio is located in a small seaside village on the beautiful Acadian coast of New Brunswick, Canada.

My primary loom is a Leclerc Artisat floor loom. I’m most interested in exploring weaving with novelty 🧶yarns. On the list of ‘To Dos’ ✅ are rag-rugs, scarves, blankets & handbags.

The first project – yarn is made by Lang, a blend of linen/silk. The twill weave made it a little thick for this 12 epi scarf, but it wasn’t as scary weaving linen as some books indicated. It will certainly keep me warm in the Atlantic winters. I changed the fringe finish to a Damastic edge with a twist and …What do you think?

Before – Fringe with simple overhand knots.
After – Twisted fringe with Damastic edge.

I look forward to connecting with any fibre artists, especially Atlantic and Canadian weavers, so be sure to say hi 👋🏼
