On the jack floor loom, the harnesses are connected to the treadles. That connection can be altered based on the kind of pattern I want to create.

Sometimes it feels like I’m playing some kind of percussion instrument. There is a rhythmic sound that fills my studio as I am immersed in the sequence of weaving.

Meditation, flow, and connection, are the bonuses of doing something you love.
