Art Makes the World a Better Place. As I look back on my childhood, I am reminded of the eclectic art that adorned the walls of my home. From my mother’s beautiful paintings to my childhood paint-by-numbers, my brother’s space photographs, and my own collection of hippy ‘love’ posters and pop stars during my teenage years, art was a constant presence. It provided us with an invitation into our imaginations, a doorway to dreams of a brighter tomorrow, even amidst the inevitable struggles of life. Art was a source of comfort and inspiration, a reminder that beauty and possibility can be found in even the most challenging times.
